tickets and use 2 in one day?
We got looking at prices and it would be cheaper to buy 5 or 6 one day passes instead of a 3 or 4 day park hopper.
Can you use a one day pass to spend say a half day at epcot and then use another to spend the other half of the day at AK?
TIA
Donna

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to since they are two seperate tickets. Is it really cheaper though? :confused3

As an AP person, I don't pay much attention to ticket prices, but wouldn't it be cheaper to buy one-day tickets with a park-hopping feature?

I can't see why you couldn't use two different tickets in one day, but maybe you can't.

The price list I have in front of me has as an example.
5 day adult 1 park a day pass for 182 and for a 4 day park hopper it is 207.
This is a price list from our local office on base we are military.
Do they hand you 5 different passes for 5 different days or is it like one pass that gets stamped each day? Dont really know how it works? We figure 2 days for MK and then maybe a day at each of the other 3.
But saw someone on another post asking a similar ? about a 14 day with no expiration and keeping it to use for several years.
TIA
Donna

A 4 day hopper is $248.15 advanced purchase

a single day ticket is $67.10..not sure how you're figuring your math but the 4day hopper seems cheaper. That's how the program was designed..to be cheaper the more days your purchase.

The 5 day ticket you are referring to is one ticket good for 5 days. Not 5 separate tickets and if this is the kind of pass you are looking at, it cannot be used for entry into more than one park in a day.

You may be able to do this, but I'm not sure how the math works out.....

Undiscounted tickets are what, $67 for one-day tickets, $193 plus $43 for 3-day hoppers or $208 plus $43 for 4-day hoppers. (Including tax and rounding numbers)

So, 5 single days = $335
3-day hoppers = $236
6 single days = $402
4-day hoppers = $251

Now, if you found a place that heavily discounted the single-day tickets, but not the hoppers for some reason, the numbers might change.

I think military tickets might be discounted. I'm not in the military, but I work for a company who partners with Disney and I get a 20% discount on certain tickets. We can purchase a one day ticket for 50.00.

That is correct.

OK, looks like we all posted at once. :-) Military tickets are discounted, but for single days still don't beat the hopper prices - and the military can get discounted hopper passes. I think the other poster is correct that the ticket the OP is looking at is not 5 single tickets, but one 5-day pass. The 5-day pass will only allow you in one park per day unless you add the hopper option.

OOPs sorry for the confusion. I am new to all of this and trying to get it straight.
It says 5day ticket for 182 then for comparison for the amount of days we thought we needed a 4day hopper says 207.
So Do they stamp each ticket for a certain day?
They wont give me 5 different tickets, or what is to stop me from burning a day ticket by going to 2 differnt parks? KWIM?
Donna

They dont stamp the ticket it goes through a turnstile connected to a computer. The computer knows if the ticket is a hopper or not and which park the ticket was used on each day.

They don't physically 'stamp' tickets anymore, it's all in the computer. That's how they know not to let you into the second park of the day if your ticket doesn't have a park hopper linked to it - the computer refuses it.

You will really want a ticket for the number of days with the hopping feature. :thumbsup2 Buying single day tickets is a waste of money. :)

There is no 14 day ticket. The Magic Your Way was designed to be more flexible than the old style. You choose..
- your base number of days
- whether you want hopping or not
- whether you want "no expiration" (good forever) or a ticket that expires 14 days after 1st use.

I believe the max # of days you can get is a 10day. At least that's what's listed in their literature. We've always bought more ticket than we needed. We're going next week for nothing OOP using leftover days from several previous trips. You basically lock in this yrs price and the per/day value changes significantly the bigger day ticket you buy...for example the 2 day premium tic is $119/day and the same 10day tic is $44/day.

you can get 14 and 21 day tickets in the UK and Canada.

Yes you could. But are you sure this is cheaper?

This is a 5 day pass not 5 singal day park passes. Now I see why you think it is cheaper. The pass for 182 is not 5 single passes. A single day is about $65 or about 325. So your 4 day park hopper is cheaper.

If your base will still sell them at that price, run over there today and buy what you want. Military tickets increased on January 1st along with the ones for the general public. You 5 day base w/expiration for military is now $197 and your 4 day PH w/expiration for military is now $233.
