Like Pepsi, or bottles of OJ, on the cruise with you? Do I just stuff them into my carry-on?

I'm a BIG diet pepsi junkie, so any info would be great :D

We just got back and brought our own pop, beer, and drink boxes. They were packed in our carry-on. We had no problems bringing it onboard.

Yes, but be aware carry on has limited size (and after Sept. 11th, it may be more enforced than normal... not sure). But with 2 suitcases a piece (my 6 year old daughter only needs one), we use the extra for packing soda, bottled water, beer and alcohol (bubble wrap a must for any glass bottles). You may want to pack a bottle of wine for a romantic evening. Enjoy your cruise!!!

If you fly, do the cans not explode! I am very worried about this. I'd like to take some diet cokes and beer but didn't know how to do it. Any suggestions would be helpful. Only 4 more weeks!!!!!

We have seen people with pop in their luggage and it is dripping out !! We usually stop at a quick stop and pick up a couple of 12 packs of pop we carry them on as is and have had no problems doing this.
As for juice we brought sippy cups and ordered extra juice from room service kept in the frig and it was there when the kids wanted it.

Cans and bottles will not normally "explode" if you put them in your luggage for a plane flight - the cargo holds on passenger planes are pressurized. It jusy makes for heavy luggage sometimes. Note that this doesn't take into account the abuse that luggage sometimes takes when loading and unloading - if the cans/bottles aren't well packed..............

However, you may want to conside purchasing what you need after you arrive in FL, but before you board the cruise. Be sure to pack what you purchase in luggage or carryone, as just strapping a 12-pack of soda to your luggage won't be acceptable.

Who would want to schlep that weight around with them when checking their luggage in at the airport or dealing with baggage claim and all that? Forget it! Unless you're taking the DCL bus directly from the airport to the port, make a beverage stop on the way.

The easiest place to stop for groceries is Publix. Their new Cocoa Commons store is just off the SR-524 exit. As you're traveling on SR-528 towards the port, SR-524 is the first exit east of I-95. At the bottom of the ramp, turn right. The Publix is right in front of you.

This is the perfect place to stock up on the munchies, sodas, beer, and wine that you plan to carry onboard.

We are taking the DCL bus from the airport to the port so I guess we're out of luck. I guess I'll just watch what I drink on the boat so it doesn't run the bill up so high!!Thanks!!!
