i am confused a little about if u are allowed to bring outside food in the park. i read once that it said they dont advertise if u can, and they do check your stuff.

yes you can bring in outside food and drink if by outside you mean some snacks, bottled water/soda, small sandwiches. i definatelty wouldn't bring in a picnic basket filled to the brim with a 9 course meal, but i have always brought in 3-4 bottles of water and pop-tarts, fruit snacks, goldfish, pb&j sandwiches, etc. i have never had a problem at all except for the security CM who said "i'm gonna have to find you on my lunch break b/c i love those" :goodvibes

Just as long as you can fit it into a bag (b/c u can't bring in a cooler-they have to be left in a car) you are fine. i would totally recommend bringing snacks especially if you are travelling with children - it helps so they don't get cranky and it saves alot of money that you would otherwise be spending on snacks in the park (and those can get very expensive after a while)
