Can you book packages (room/ticket) to Universal like you can Disney?

Hi everyone
We are planning on going to Universal next spring for my DS's spring break in April, I have never stayed on sight or purchased packages for Universal only Disney, so I was wondering how this works and if I can book a package (if available) through my AAA Travel Agent?

Hi everyone

yes but it usually is not economical to do it that way.
cheaper to break it down and book room only, buy tickets separate.

the packages come with the transportation, room, tickets and any add ons you want.
you can go to the hotel site and play around with it to see how you do the add ons for your trip.

i have been going to universal since 1992 yearly and many years extra trips in the same year.

out of over 30 trips there, i have only booked a package 2 times.
that was due to the special they had at that time and it was cheaper for me overall to book that way.

AAA gives very good discounts for a package, tickets or room only booking.

booking thru AAA for a UO vacation is the same way as doing a booking for a disney vacation.

i have done both

but, i prefer booking on my own with the AAA as i have control of my details for my trip then. everything comes directly to me without the middle man then.

I checked booking individually and as a package throught AAA and found the package is the way to go.

We are leaving this Wednesday for 7 nights at the Roayl Pacific at Universal. In our package we go 2 days at sea worlds, 1 day at wet and wild (free) , 7 days at universal, transportaion to and from the airport, and lots of little extras like a free 8x10 picture and such.

I would give your AAA travel agent a call.

Have fun :goodvibes

Agree with everything Macraven said. Plus, when you have problems with your reservations, you can take care of it yourself without having travel agents screw everything up for you.
