Can you book 2 rooms together on the WDW site?

I've been trying to book two rooms together for our WDW trip - is this possible? We are a party of 3 adults and one child (8yo), and we want to have two rooms. All of my searches keep coming up with just one room, with no option to specify that I'd actually like two rooms.

Is there any way around this?
or do I just make two bookings?

I would assume you would have to make two bookings since 4 people can easily fit in one room.

We book 2 rooms, 1 for us (family of 4), 1 for my parents. Their stance is that they can't guarantee adjoining rooms, make a note on file/reservations that they will do their best to accommodate. We haven't had an issue yet.

Thanks MoCanada. So you just make two separate bookings online/however, and request adjoining rooms?
(I'm not trying to be painful - just making sure that I understand exactly what you're saying

I've done it both online and thru phone booking. If you book it online, just call in at some point with your reservation #s to confirm with a Cast Member that the request is on file.....just to be safe.

This past December we had 2 adjoining rooms, I called and booked it to make sure that they were fully aware that we needed connecting rooms, not just 2 rooms that could possibly end up in 2 separate buildings. Everything worked out great and with my large family of 6, that extra space was a sanity saver
