Can you believe I'm nervous about going to DLP this weekend?

I don't think I have ever been this nervous about going to DLP!
First of all, I'm going by car, and I hope I will not get lost somewhere! For those who have been by car: is it easy to find??? My GPS has only a CD for Benelux, i'm trying to get a European/ French CD by Friday night, but doubt I'll be lucky to find one.

Next to that, I'm staying off-site. I'm not worried about the hotel, it looks really good on the pictures. I just hope I won't get lost while driving from DLP to the hotel and back!

I'm also nerveous about parking at Disney. I know there is a big parking lot for the parks, but what if I want to go to the hotel and change after park time and then come back to eat at the Village? Can we still have access to the Disney parking lot or is there a Disney Village parking lot (comparable to Downtown Disney parking in the US)?

And what about AP's? Do we need to take a picture with us, or will they take a picture of us while we are there?

It's too much stress... really :(

Car parking: What hotel are you staying in? Some of the off-site hotels allow free parking at Disney. You also get free parking with an annual pass. I'm pretty sure that the car parks stay open till quite late as Disney want people to spend time in the village. As far as I know, there isn't a car park for the village. I've looked on google earth and I couldn't see one either.

AP's: They take your picture! The one they took of me was awful and now I have to look at it all year round!!!

We'll be staying at the Best Western in Marne la Vallée. For this weekend, it was 55 EUR a night through hotels.com, for in two weeks, it was 80 EUR a night through hotels.com, that's why we stay there.

We will both be buying an AP, and I think I'm going to buy the most expensive one, because then you can park at the Disney-hotels too apparantly... HNY isn't too far from the Village :rotfl: :rolleyes1:

Oh, I hope they take a good picture of me... do you think they'll let me keep my ears on? :earsgirl: ;)

Hiya,
driving there is dead easy I wouldn't bother with the sat nav - we always just print out a route - rac.co.uk , theaa.co.uk and viamichelin.com are good sites for printed instructions - at least one of the above (can't remember) gives a list of "aires" (service stations/rest stops) on it.

I would have some Euros ready for the tolls and remember that the toll ticket pick up and paying is on the passenger side for us Brits - the toll amount is displayed on a screen where the passenger can see it, but it really is easy, and so nice to have the car anyhow, so much room for all the souvenirs!!!!:rolleyes1

Have a great trip!

I had my first encounter with the toll boots the second week of January, when I had to go to Paris for work...
The one backing up at the toll booth because she chose a wrong one? Yeah.... that was me :rolleyes1: (I didn't have change, just a Visa-card, and I saw to late the "blue booths" are the ones for credit cards... well, live and learn)

Thanks for the route-planning sites!

You can park in all the hotel car parks except for the Disneyland Hotel with a Dream AP. We tried a few but HNY was definitely the most convienient :)
