Can you apply dining credits to one card?

Though I am not a Disney newbie, I can't seem to recall if, in order to apply our dining credits to either a QS or TS meal, must all of the participants must show their room key?

I am hoping I can take my room card and just deduct everyone's credits from one card. Can that be done?

All credits are on every card, so you only need to show the one.
