We are going to Disney in May and hoping for a BB offer that can be used for a November trip. I would like to go ahead and book a room just to make sure we can get what we want. If I get a BB offer can I apply it to an existing reservation?:confused3

We just did so. I had 2 rooms booked with the PIN for 30% off a moderate room for the week after thanksgiving. While there we changed the rooms to the bounceback rate of 35% off. I had a CM that was difficult to process the change, I had the code etc. She wanted me to read the flyer - weird. Then after the change was made she wanted my current res. number which I didn't have in front of me! She called the front desk to get it- funny since everyother res. I had (Including the other room in my daughter's name came up and she spoke of them) Anyway, I did finally get the price decrease. My daughter had no issues changing hers. I guess it's the luck of the draw who you get.

One thing though, the room type/resort has to be available to book the bounceback as well. So if the room you do book is not avail. you may have to change it.

As long as rooms are available for the bounceback deal at the resort you want you can.

I already had a room booked for my upcoming May trip at rack rate. When I was there in Dec I called and had them apply the bounceback 35% off rate to it with no problem. Since I had originally booked it as an AP holder's ticketless pkg with dining, the confirmation number stayed the same (but I had to add one day park tickets since the bounceback required them in order to add the DDP). A few days after I returned, I decided to switch resorts. I called, was able to switch, and again the confirmation number stayed the same. The very next day AP discounts came out. I called back, switched to the AP 40% off and was able to delete the park tickets I didn't need. Again the reservation number stayed the same.

If you book a room only now, then try to add dining with the bounceback offer, you would have to cancel and rebook, since it would then become a pkg and their confirmation numbers differ (the room only confirmation numbers have more digits in them).
