hey guys!

I'm heading down to Disney in 2 weeks (ahh! can't wait!) and have had our ADRs for quite some time now! My party (there's 3 of us) have reservations at Cape May Cafe our first night and Be Our Guest(!!!) our second. We just found out that a close friend of ours wanted a mini vacation and was wondering if she could join up with us for those nights.

My question to all of you awesome disney people out there is would we be able to add her on to our reservation? Any knowledge would be appreciated! thanks everyone!

More than likely, it won't be a problem since you are going from a party of three to a party of four. You will probably be seated at a table for four anyway so adding one person shouldn't be a big deal.

The problem comes from adding one person to an even number. If you go from four to five, the restaurant needs to add another table (one for four, one for two).

You should be fine even if you just show up with the extra person but you can call first.

It's not a guarantee, but I will say my brother and his family had great luck in adding an extra to their ADRs on their last trip. They went from a party of 5 to 6 when my Aunt decided to go with them at the very last minute. She was able to be added to every ADR they had, including CRT. I agree with the PP in that it will most likely be easier to go from an odd to an even number of people.

As the PPs said, you'll probably be okay because you're going from an even to an odd party number. However, some restaurants do have tables for three, so in those cases it might be an issue. I would try to add her before you go so you don't have to worry. While unlikely that they'll turn you away, there is always a possibility that the restaurant is filled to fire code capacity and they cannot accommodate an extra person or that they will treat you as a walk-up.

You should not have a problem at all. We are ADRs for 4 at BOMA and our friend decided to surprise us at the last minute with two of his friends. There was no problem at all.

You are going from odd to even so accomodating you should not be a worry.

I have tried for two days now tring to add one more person to our reservation at BOG...no luck online, and no luck when I call

You can try and walk up with an extra guest, and you will all probably be seated. However there are no guarantees. If a restaurant is booked full they extra guest will not be allowed in.

The best thing is to change your ADR ahead of time if you can. If that doesn't happen, show up extra early, ask nicely, and keep your fingers crossed. They will seat the extra person if at all possible.

I'm in the same boat. I have an ADR for Be Our Guest for me and my mom on May 14th, but a couple of weeks ago, my husband's boss changed his mind and decided to let my husband off so he could go with us. I've been trying every day for two weeks to add him, but thus far have had no luck either on line or by calling. We plan on showing up early to see if they can add him and if not, my mom and I will eat there, while he eats a pork shank at Gaston's.:rotfl: I'm still checking on line several times a day and calling once a day though.

Several years ago I had a friend join us mid vacation, and it was spur of the moment. We went from four to five with no problems. We just walked up and every TS accommodated us. The only time I had to call for was to add a Mickey's BackyardBBQ ticket.

How do you a a guest online, I was just trying to figure it out when I came here an seen this thread.

Thanks:)
