Can you add a day to the Calif. City Pass?

Just ordered the City pass through Costco and would like to go 4 days instead of 3. Will DL let you upgrade to 4 days for a fee at the park?

Yes, you can upgrade. They will scan the ticket and tell you what its worth. You'll pay the difference between the value and the 4 day ticket price.

I have no clue what a city pass is worth, since they total value is split between all the different places you use it for.

You can upgrade, but you will lose the discount on the 3-day park hopper & end up paying full price for that. It might be better to get a 1-day hopper for the extra day.

Yes, as others have said you can upgrade. We will be upgrading ours to annual passes (after we have availed ourselves of the EE morning). I spoke to someone directly at Disney and they confirmed this, though they could not tell me the value of the DL portion of the city pass. They said they would have to scan the ticket to determine what was paid for it before crediting that amount toward our AP's. We too bought our passes through Costco. I don't know when the scan the tickets if it will show that we paid a discount price or not. Either way for us the cost of upgrade and value of the San Diego tickets still works out to be a bargain. However, in your case, as the previous poster mentioned, it may not turn out to be a cost saving pass for you once you upgrade just for a day.

The value of the 3-day parkhopper is $149 which is the discounted advance purchase price of the parkhopper. The gate price of the 4-day is $199. You will pay the difference of $50.

I think I'll pass. It would cost an extra $200 for the 4 of us to go about a half a day.
