Can we visit DHHIR if we aren't staying there?

Hello all!

We just booked a condo in Villamere for July 14-21. We stayed at DHHIR a couple years ago and LOVED it, unfortunately I've been calling daily looking for a member cash room and there haven't been any available. Since we needed to pin down our summer vacation, we decided to rent from VRBO.

Would we be able to visit either the resort or the beach house for some Mickey Waffles or Dole Whips, or the Mercantile if we aren't staying there?

I was in Savannah collecting DD from a SCAD summer program, and we went over to the resort for a few hours. We had breakfast from the counter service near the Mercantile. We then went downstairs and rented bikes and biked over to the ocean. We walked around there, had lunch, and biked back. No problems whatsoever. Had a great little visit!

Anyone have any experiences at the Beach House?

We ate at the beach house counter service there. We didn't have swimsuits, so we didn't try to get in the pool. I don't think anyone would have stopped us if we tried, though.

Thanks! We have a great pool at our condo right next door so we aren't looking to swim. I wouldn't mind a Dole Whip, though!
