Can we use our Magic Morning for DCA or is it for DLR only?

Just wondering if I can use the magic morning entry to get into DCA? Or is that only for Disneyland?

We have 4 day passes and will be going Wednesday Thursday and Sunday Monday. The only day we can is Thursday but were planning on DCA that day. I have the hoppers the rest of the group doesn't.

Magic morning is only for DL. If you are staying at a Disney hotel then you have access to the EMH at DCA. If you're not staying at a Disney hotel you cant get into DCA early.

It's great that you asked! I've seen on more than one occasion, families turned away from DCA gates at EMH, when they thought they could enter for MM. Some of the times CMs make announcements that EMH (at DCA) is only for onsite guests (& that people needed to show their room key).

I would switch your DCA day to take advantage of the Magic Morning at DL. I think it is a great time. Even though not all the park is available, you can get a lot done in that time. You need to make sure and get to the at LEAST 30 mins before it opens to take full advantage, or it's not worth it. It's the best, and only time to ride PP without a 45 min line. If you are there super early, you will be at the front of the line, and when they let you in, run (do not walk) strait to PP. They used to say not to run, and some may still, but everyone does.

It's nice to have the extra hour, but if you don't want to switch your days you'll be ok. We had APs and couldn't do MM, so we always started in the opposite park. If that's your strategy you will still have a chance at getting on PP without a wait if that is important to you. Just make sure you get to the parks plenty early each morning.

Thanks for the answers. We're planning to do May 4th in Disneyland since the kids love star wars...im hoping they have something planned for that :) so we're going to do dca the next day

They will have some May the Fourth and Revenge of the Fifth merchandise. Last year there was a photo op on the 4th that said May the Fourth and the CMs had lightsabers. The stormtroopers started doing their normal rounds, but it was shoulder to shoulder crowded for most of the day so they stopped. With all the Star Wars stuff happening now, and the photo ops inside Launch Bay I wonder if they'll do the outside one again. The line was 30-40 minutes and took up a lot of space. I don't expect anything special other than the merch and possibly a backdrop or sign to hold for photos. I would rope drop at DL, do TL first. If there is any photo op, ride Space, then get FP for Star Tours, do the photo op, use your FP and get out of there. If you have a Disney Visa go back and get your Kylo Ren pic. Launch Bay opens an hour after the park opens. By the time you've done Space and any photos outside it should be open. If not, check out the breakfast menu at TLT, they have blue milk french toast. Split an order as a snack, because blue milk.

If no one else in your group has hoppers, then You are the only one who gets MM. Or are you planning on going to DL for MM on your own?

You don't have to have hoppers to get MM, just a three day or longer ticket bought online.

I just noticed they added 2 things on the TLT stage and theater on 5/4. It's interesting that there's nothing on 5/5, they've had some little acknowledgement of Cinco de Mayo in the parks for the last few years. You'd think if they're going to put Star Wars on the calendar they'd add the other too.
