If we use the 40% off of resort code, can we still later add free dining if it ends up being offered? (We are going in Dec. 09 so we don't know if they will even be offering free dining. We are hopeful since they did offer it in Dec. of 08!)

No. You can only use one discount.

No. If they do happen to offer free dining, just call and get a price comparison.

You cannot have 2 discounts on 1 reservation. However, you may add dining to your MYW Package and still save a bundle as opposed to having to purchase each meal 1 by 1.

All depends on how many in your party and where you stay Robin did a great spreadsheet last year to try and help compare Free Dining and discounts and you might want to look at the 40% page to see how it was then (click on the 40 Percent tab at the bottom of the SS):

The Free Dining discount savings is directly related to the number of paying adults and children in your party, multiplied by the number of NIGHTS you are staying.

A 40% room discount savings varies depending on which resort you choose.
