Three days wow! The time is going to fly by now!! Your family will love the "new" things at DHS. TSM is awesome and your boys will enjoy the stunt show!

It seems like there are a lot of new (or new to us) things on our list this year.

Tom Sawyer Island - I can't wait to check it out. I think I went there as a kid, but my kids have never been. I'm going to try to get Mickey's on my big toes - I'll post a pictures tomorrow.

Here is the update I poted on the disABILITIES thread I started with Zach's help cards:

These are very similar to Zachary's cards... you'll notice Alex's first card is a "rules" card - he has fewer sensory issues than Zach but a lot more behavior issues that we want to try to keep under control.

There are a couple icons I need to fill in - "Hidden Mickeys" and "Cast Member". I have to draw them or import some photos into Boardmaker.

And a blank in case there is anything we need to add with a Sharpie...

For a CM picture what about a CM pin. That's what he'd need to look for and Hidden Mickey a simple black colored MM head may do the trick.

As of now, Spectro is still scheduled for 10pm with Wishes at 9????? Very strange... But it has also been added on the 3rd (our last night) so we have the option of seeing it at 9pm on either the 2nd or 3rd... we'll see. I'm still hoping for 8pm (or even 9pm) on the 30th.

The other possible problem that has come up is that we are planning to be at DHS on May 1st (not at rope drop after our late MK night) but I just heard that May 1st is DHS's 20th anniversary and they are opening early at 8am and have some special things planned (not sure what - need to find out). There isn't a Fantasmic showing that night so I'm hoping that means the crowds won't be crazy huge, but I don't know how much the anniversary will effect things... We may not be there very long that day...

I made a simple MM head on Zachary's cards witha sharpie - I just forgot to do it on Alex's. I also drew a CM name tag on Zachary's, but I don't love it. We'll see if I have time to redo those cards or not - if not, he'll end up with a drawing too.

Yay!! It looks like we're going to have some good weather!! Funny thing is it's supposed to be in the 80's here this weekend & Monday... oh well - I'll take Disney in the 80 over NH in the 80s any day!! I'm happy for the people who are sticking around here for school vacation week though.

That's Alex's quilt - my mom made that one too. I was trying to put the cards in the sun so I wouldn't have to use the flash and get a glare.

Day 2 of DisMomAmy's 10 days of Disney countdown:

I was hoping to post pictures of my Mickey head pedicure, but the nail technician didn't know how to do it... I could try to do something myself, but I don't want to mess up my toes...

Instead I'm going to share something fun that happened today. You all know how exciting it is to get Mickey mail, right?

Well today I got a Mickey call!!!!!!!! Grand Gatherings called to confirm the number of rooms we have reserved, the dates, the parties and requests. I wasn't here when the CM called but she left me a lovely message. Everything she said was accurate so I don't have to call back - but what a nice surprise!!

Oh and guess what...
