Can We request A certain Building?

I am staying at all star movies, and would love to be able to get my daughter to stay in the Toy Story Building. I have noticed however that it is the closest building to the bus stop and figure that would fill up pretty quick.

I called ASMo directly on another unrelated matter and was told that they would not see my reservation until it was about 3 days out. Do you guys think I could call CRO and get something done through them?????

Hi Charles,

I've been told that you can fax a request prior to your arrival, but no more than 4 days before. There is a person whose job it is to assign a room to each guest with a reservation, and he uses the faxes to help him do that. You can request a building, floor, view....whatever you like, but the more specific you get, the more likely you are to not get EXACTLY what you have asked for. I've heard that a lot of people get their requests filled if the assigner is able to make your Disney wishes come true.

Call central reservations and have your request noted in your reservation. No need to fax then. Most resorts aren't looking at faxes anyway.

Just call Disney and make your request known. I wouldn't bother faxing a request. We have always dealt with CRO and gotten most of our requests. I also understand that so many people were faxing that a lot of the resorts aren't even paying attention to the faxes! Just toss them out. So, if you call and give CRO your requests, they will note it on your reservation. Then when you get to your resort check-in you can restate your needs. And, hopefully, you will be able to get what you want. Even if you don't get in Toy Story, don't forget that you will be spending a lot of time just walking around the resort, so you will still be able to see it and enjoy it.

I agree with the others. Call CRO and have them note your request on your reservation and then again ask about being in Toy Story when you check-in. That is really all you can do and hopefully you will get your request.

I'm glad to know about the fax requests! I had been planning to send one before our arrival to ASSP. When DH called to put down our room deposit he did request the Touchdown building, so maybe I will just mention something when we check in. Even if we get put into one of the other buildings, it's still Disney!

When we made the reservations, I requested Toy Story and was told that it would be no problem!
