Can we rent life jackets on the ship?

Hi,
In our group we have some three year olds who would need a life jacket to be near the pools. Can we rent them or do we need to pack our own?

I didn't see any for rent, nor did I see anyone that looked like they had them supplied by the ship. There were some kids with the water wings on, but most didn't have anything, the mickey pool is only about 18" deep, so none was needed for most kids. The goofy pool gets pretty wild, with older kids and adults, so I wouldn't think you would want them floating by themselves in there.

That being said, we did bring our 5 and 7 year olds life vests to wear at the beach in St. Thomas, St. Maarten and Castaway Cay. I watched them at all times, but I felt better, if they walked out too far, that they had life vests on.

I never saw or read about renting life jackets. I believe you need to bring your own. I always put my DD on even when she was in the Mickey pool. IMHO it is better to be safe rather than sorry, but she is also 3 yr old.

I actually don't know if DCL will allow your own floatation devices in the pools (other than water wings). I sort of remember hearing that they don't allow it. I would call DCL just to check. I know many public pools......even WDW resort pools....do not let you bring your own flotation devices.

My daughter actually has a life vest. We have used it several times at WDW along with in the Mickey pool. She is 3 yrs old and I'm right there next to her. IMHO it only takes a second with your eyes off of her and something can happen. I'm probably being way overprotective, but I'll rather be safe than sorry.
