Can we rent Bonnet Creek for 3-4 days?

Well, I've been lurking and think I answered my thread from a couple of days ago about where to stay for NYE. I have many questions, so any help would be very welcome! :worship:

We would love to say at Bonnet Creek from Dec. 29- Jan. 1st or 2nd. First of all, will it be possible to rent only 3 or four days, or do we have to rent a week? Second, do we have any chance of securing a rental for this busy time? Also, we will be a party of four. DH and I will need a bed, and DD and DS will need seperate beds. What kind of a room will we need? Is there a specific area in the resort that we should request? And where should we rent the points from? I have read about Ken and will give him a shout, but if that doesn't work out, where else should we look? Any idea what would be considered good rates for this time frame?

We would love your input! It would also be great to hear from anyone who has stayed there over the holidays so that we can get a good idea what to expect, (crowds, decorations, pool temps, etc.)

TIA for any help!:flower3:

There is a fee for less then 7 days which you can see in pricing.

Hope that helps

I am pretty sure you can rent 3 or 4 nights as we added this amount onto our orignal reservation and they were treated as 2 reservations. I would say the sooner you book for that time the better. Saying that it's a pretty big resort. We had a 2 bed which had 2 double beds in 1 room and a king size in the other, both were en suite. The room was fantastic. We were in the main building which I loved because it still felt like you were in a hotel. Plus you were close to everything. I also booked with Ken Price who was great.

Yes, 3 or 4 days is possible. Wyndham owners can book Prime season stays of 3, 4, or 7 days starting or ending on a check-in day at that resort. Bonnet Creek has Friday, Saturday, and Sunday check ins.

Right now, there is availability for 1 and 2BR units, checking in on the 29th, for 3 nights. There are only 1BR units available for a four-night stay. The 10-month window just opened for this week---I would not wait too long to book if you want to stay here. These will go quickly.

Thank you, Brian! :goodvibes Can I ask how the rental arrangement usually works? How much is usually put down to secure the rental, and when does the rest typically come due?

I am staying at Bonnet Creek, and I got it off of ebay. I know there were New Year's dates and 3/4 day rentals. Try there.

It depends on the owner. Everyone will have different policies. It is not unusual for a non-trivial deposit to secure the booking, with the balance due immediately upon the confirmation in your name.

Thanks so much for all of the help!:flower3: I contacted Ken at Vacation Upgrades and am booking the 3-day stay. The 4-day stay is booked up already!

I love the fact that we won't have to fight to get on and off property on NYE and that there is a large tub to soak in if it winds up being chilly. I am hoping to find others who have stayed over NYE to see what was being offered (activity-wise) around the resort, how the pool temps were, etc. Any idea where I might find this information?

Thanks, again!:)
