Sorry if this isn't the correct place to post this question but I wasn't sure where to place it.

If we have a winter home in FL but our main home is in IL can we purchase the FL Resident Annual Passes? Our main address in MDE and our driver's license will be IL but we can show utility bills as proof to Guest Relations. Would that work?

Thanks!

I am almost positive it is based on if you have a Florida driver's license.

There was a thread on here a while ago about this. I think a utility bill, or some other proof was good too. But this is just from my memory. The person who posted said they called Disney and asked about it and was told that it was okay. Maybe try that - call Disney and ask.

My parents have OH driver's licenses and a home here and in Florida. I believe that they just had to show utility bills/bank statement with their names and addresses. I will tell you that they have their Chase Disney Visa addressed to their Florida address, which I believe helps!

It is not based on whether or not you have a Florida drivers license. I also live in Illinois but have a Florida vacation home and I have the Florida annual pass. There is a place on the website that tells you the different things you can use to get the Florida AP. One of them is your Illinois license and a utility bill, government mail like your tax Bill, etc. I have had a Florada AP now for about the past four years. I use my Chase bank account with my Florida address

The info is on the WDW site, but here it is summarized from a different thread. And I would assume it's the same for FL APs.

Here's the actual list. We always use our bank statements.

Florida Resident Tickets:
Proof of a Florida residential address is required. For each ticket purchased for an adult, you may provide any of the following:
  • Valid Florida driver's license
  • Valid Florida state-issued ID card (must have a Florida address)
  • Valid Florida-based military ID

If you do not have one of the IDs indicated above, then for each ticket purchased for an adult you must provide one of the following dated within the last 2 months and evidencing a Florida residential address (not a PO Box) together with a corresponding picture ID (passport, driver's license, state identification card):

  • Monthly mortgage statement
  • Florida vehicle registration or title
  • Homeowner's insurance policy or bill
  • Automobile insurance policy or bill
  • Utility bill
  • Mail from a financial institution, including checking, savings or investment account statement
  • Mail from a federal, state, county or city government agency
The persons who will use the Florida Resident adult tickets must be present at the time of ticket pick up. A print of an electronic bill of the type described above is acceptable. Photocopies and fax copies of bills are not acceptable.

(How they would tell the difference between a printout of an e-bill and a photocopy of a bill I don't know. Fun when rule-makers don't think something through.)

Thanks! I checked out the site and saw they would take a print out but wondered if they would give me a hard time. We go paperless on everything so all I could give is a print out and I don't want to be given a hard time by them thinking it is a photocopy.

I'm sure they'll be fine with it. I just pointed it out because it cracks me up.

It's like coupons that are from the internet, meant to be printed, and then they state "no photocopies". How could they tell?

Have a great trip!
