Can we park at the Boardwalk on New Years Eve?

We are going to be offsite NYE before checking in onsite on New Years Day.

So we don't have park passes but I was wanting to take my son to the Boardwalk area and just eat some counter service (no ADR's left) and enjoy some of the entertainment. We have no intentions of staying till midnight because I don't want to have to fight the traffic.
However, I am wondering if they will allow us to park there or if there is a better idea of where to park at? :confused3

I honestly don't know about the parking on that day for offsite guests without an ADR - you can probably pay to valet park there, though. And there's always DTD and you can get a bus to the Boardwalk, although I can only imagine how crowded the DTD lots will be!

That said...what counter service are you planning on eating? There is none available except for the pool bar (which might be closed in the evening by the time the Boardwalk entertainment starts up) or the Boardwalk Bakery, which is mostly just baked goods and sweets. Not sure what the counter service options are at the Swan & Dolphin, but those might be better bets for food.

You might be able to get into Beaches & Cream to eat if you are there when they open. Usually it's easy to get in at about 3pm, but on NYE, I suspect that won't be the case. Good luck figuring something out.

Yes I was thinking of maybe Beaches & Cream or maybe just the pizza window on the Boardwalk. I could even park over at the Swan/Dolphin area. but I was just wanting to get a little excitement for the evening and i thought maybe from 7-10pm grab some food and watch the Boardwalk entertainment my son is 11 he's still young enough to be easily entertained by that stuff!

I don't think you'll be able to park at the BWI without an ADR or room reservation. This contradicts some of the stuff I've read that you can visit the resorts if you are not staying on property.

A few weeks ago I went up for a day trip and wanted to eat at Beaches and Cream. Security at the gate would not let me in since B&C doesn't do ADRs and he made it sound like I would need an ADR to go to the resort. Catch-22 much?

There is overflow BW parking across the street from the resort. It's kind of hidden by trees and next to the Hesse station. I have no idea how crowded that lot will be, though.

During Food & Wine, parking is more restricted @ the Epcot resorts, esp. the Boardwalk. But on New Year's Eve, I don't know what the situation would be relative to parking in that area without an ADR or being a resort guest. My instinct tells me it would be even more strict than F&W time AND the parking lots will be even more full, including the parking across the street next to the Hess station.

If it doesn't work out, you could park at DHS and then boat/walk over to Boardwalk.

You can, but things change with parking on days like New Years Eve. Has nothing to do with being able to visit the resort and everything to do with people trying to park there to get to the theme parks on the busiest day of the year. I would imagine the answer on that day is no. And if they do allow it, you will get a timed parking pass.

A few years ago on New Years Eve my family and I went to visit there and everyone who was not staying there was being directed to the parking lot across the street behind the Hess station. Plus we were also given a 3 hour parking pass with the time we arrived at and the time we had to leave at.
