Can we park and catch a bus

We are staying off site until December 1 and then have POR reservations. We wanted to go on into the parks early that day but we can't check in until after 3:00. As we won't have a resort parking pass, would we have to pay to park at Epcot? Is there any way to get an identification as a resort guest prior to actually checking in? Have you ever tried to park at the resort and catch the bus?

Are you sure you can't park at POR the day you check in? If your room is not ready then just check in leave your bags and jump on the bus?

If not you could park at DTD but I am sure that it is frowned upon and not sure the bus would be started early enough to get to the pakrs.

I'm pretty sure you can park at the resort and even leave your bags there before your actual check-in time. You can then take the bus to the parks.

Why can't you check in early, give them your luggage and get the parking pass and park your car and head to a park?

Not sure what else you can do.

You can check in at anytime, even if your room is not ready. So I would suggest that you check in at POR early in the am, and then go and enjoy the parks.. At check in, they will give you the parking pass and then just hop the bus.

You can check in at what ever time you want. You don't have to wait until after 3:00. They just don't guarentee you a room until after 3:00. Check in when ever you get there. I have checked in as early as 7:00am. They will give your parking pass, rooms keys and other information. They may even give you a room if there is one available.

We also always check in very early in the morning. If your room is not ready you will be given all your paperwork and room keys and the resort will store your luggage. You might get a room right away. Depends on a lot of factors.

As stated, you can check in anytime you want, whether your room is ready or not. We always check in in the morning. We are always offered a Parking Pass (but we never have a car, so we decline it)

Go to POR, check in - if your room is ready great. If not, just check your luggage & leave your car & head to the Parks. When you come back, you can go to your room & call for your bags. It's that simple. Disney makes it very easy for you to do that.

You do need to put the parking pass in your car and move your car from the check in parking to the guest parking.
