Can we make ADR for TREX yet?

I called for a ressie yesterday and they told me not yet. I did here the opening date was Oct. 14th.

Thank you for your inquiry into the new T-Rex Orlando! At this time our restaurant is scheduled to open in mid October of 2008 and we will be on a walk-in basis only until 2009.. You may check our website at anytime for updates on our opening. ...

They are not a "Disney" restaurant, you can't make ressies there. I wish- it would probably make things easier for us.

I know it's like this with all companies but I can't stand how I constantly get two different answers from Disney!!! The person I just spoke to said there is no scheduled date for them to open and YES they will be doing the ressies when they open!!! YIKES!

I just got off the phone with dining, and the CM I spoke with told me there is a good chance that T-Rex will be open during my short trip (October 17-20). He said that they haven't received any official word but he saw them moving in a two-story dinosaur yesterday. His guess was that it would operate like RFC, and reservations would not be able to be made in advance.

Interesting, if this holds true we will have to be there early one night before our Cirque show. DD would give her right arm to see this place!

You can only make reservations through Disney for the AK RFC. You must call RFC in DTD directly to make a reservation for that location. I called the RFC in DTD today, I thought since the two were owned by the same company that they may have had some insight as to when you can make the reservations but of course not. The girl I talked to had no clue it was even set to open 10/14 so she told me to call back about a month prior to that and maybe they'd have some more info by then.

We're going to be there from 10/17-10/27 and we really want to go there, too. We heard they are to open 10/14 so we are keeping our fingers crossed.
