If your decision where to stay is based on your primarily on your ADR's, here is the scoop (I hope!)
ADR's can be made by anyone, resort guest or not, at 180 days before the ADR. If you are staying "On-site" and the Swan and Dolphin are not considered "on site" for this, you can make your ADR's for 180 + 10 days from the date of your check in to a Disney Resort. In this scenario, you call once and book for up to 10 straight days.
If you are staying at the Swan Dolphin, you would have to make your ADR's EACH DAY at 180 days out, so if you are staying 7 nights , you would have to call every morning, 180 days out for each, for 7 days.
Does that make sense? If this is the only distinguishing factor between staying at the Swan/Dolphin and a "Disney" resort, you should be able to work with it, in this manner.
Hope This Helps.
