There really isn't a predictable normal at DL like there is a WDW, but I think it's safe to assume dates will be announced on Thursday. Tickets will likely go on sale next week. In the past ticket sales were only open to AP/DVC for the first week, then open to the public the following week.

I think announcements in the past have been all over the place. Last year tickets went on sale in July so it's anyone's guess on the timing. lol

I don't think so. They have also in the past sometimes done an early release if you have the chase Visa.

That list of treats has me both confused and preliminarily disappointed. It only show popcorn buckets listed under WDW and not DLR. I doubt that would actually be the case. That could cause a revolt of epic proportions.

I don't have a Magic Key, so I'm not sure about the details. I'm also not sure if you could use it to buy special tickets before you've actually activated it at the park? Sorry! Hopefully, others will chime in.

I spent some time last night reading the OBB thread from last year.

Once we get an announcement, do we want this thread to become just general Halloween time and start a new OBB thread?

Just saw your post. I think we need a separate OBB thread. Not just to focus questions around that specific event but also because I anticipate lots of people complaining about the purchase process and we can just leave that negativity to that thread and not this one.

I was just telling DH, "It's almost time for Halfway to Halloween!" And here we are. Woo hoo!

I'll be on a plane most of Thursday, but will check in once I land. I agree that ticket sales probably won't start until a bit later. It's the most wonderful time of the year!
