Can we handle it?

Hi Folks,

Just a quick question. We (me, DH and 2 DS 10 & 6) are going down in Decemeber (early part) and will be staying at SSR for 6 nights. The only concern I have is that due to points constraints (already used all of 2006 pts.....time to buy more??) we are unable to get anything more than a studio. Do you think that we'll be able to handle it after staying in a one bedroom for 2 previous trips? Boy do I sound spoiled or what? If you have gone through this is it survivable? Let me know your experiences.

We've stayed in both Studios and a 2BR. My thinking is that when we're going down to WDW mainly to go to the parks and there are just two of us (DW and myself) a Studio is perfectly fine, especially since we wouldn't be doing much cooking. We really don't stay in the room that much to justify the additional points for anything larger. BUT when we're at HHI, I definintely want a 1BR for just two of us and a 2BR if we're taking others. We would be using the kitchen a whole lot more at HHI plus we'd be staying in the unit a whole lot more just relaxing, etc.

Just keep reminding yourself that a studio is better than not going at all (or waiting until 2006 to go). Say it out loud at least 3 times every time you are missing the 1 bedroom (like when the boys are rough housing, or you are sitting in the SSR laundry room, LOL).

before you owned DVC you use to stay in WDW resort rooms - why?

so just look at this as a WDW resort room.

however that say - I would try to change to OKW - with 2 boys that double sleeper sofa is not a good solution - I would want the 2 queen beds that OKW has.
