We're staying at HRH Oct. 24-25.

If all goes as planned, we should be arriving at the park around Noon and plan to have lunch there before going on rides.

Do you think we can do most of the major things in US by 6 p.m. when they close? We've been there before, but it's been about 5 years since our last trip.

We plan to spend all day of the 25th in IOA. We have a 2 day w/ 3rd day free pass, so we could always do any missed rides on the 26th, but just wondering if it's reasonable to expect to do most of US in one 6-hour day? (Just 2 adults, no kids. And we ride just about anything, so we'll definitely be riding Mummy, etc.)

It would be difficult even though it won't be too crowded. If you weren't taking time for lunch, I would say maybe. But if you eat at noon, you probably won't be hitting the rides until 1:00 PM. that only leaves 5 hours.

The main problem even with FOTL, is that some shows like Terminator, Shrek, Twister, and Horror Makeup aren't running continually like the other rides. For instance, if you get to Shrek, right after they have started a show, you'll have to wait 15 minutes or so to get in even with FOTL.

We easily did it in less than that in May =) With FOTL, of course.

I think you can, since we did - but we did skip any water rides and kiddie rides. Rode everything else.

I would eat lunch at CityWalk before going to Universal. They have better food. You should be able to do all the rides but will have to miss some shows or visa versa if desired.

If only the rides, yes, you can do it. If you wanted to see a few shows, then no, it would take too long. With FOTL, you won't need all day at IOA on the 25th. If you arrive early in the morning, you can take a lap of the park in 3-4 hours, then walk over to USF and see the shows and missed attractions.
Agree with eating at CW for lunch your first day.

We always do both parks in 1 day if the crowds are small, and eat 2 meals, but we skip the coasters and kiddie rides. I think you can do just US in 6 hrs.
