can we do DDDP for some days and DDP for rest

Nope, nobody knows :teeth:

While you MAY be able to do it, you first need to know that this will entail changing your existing reservation into two separate packages - and keep in mind, THAT means you need to include a whole new set of tickets with the second package.

You can purchase as little as one-day park passes for the second package - save these for another trip and use up the original package tickets during your upcoming stay.

When you call Disney Reservations, you will likely be told it can't be done. Maybe it can't - you might need to wait until the promotion is offered to the public, and call and make an entirely new reservation for the second part of your trip with the Basic Dining Plan, then later call and modify your original reservation - BUT ask the CM to contact Guest Services when you first try to make the change. That's the department that can help (if anyone can) but be prepared to be on the phone for a while.

in addition to what PP said (having 2 seperate ressies), do be aware that you might have to change rooms ~ you can ask at initial check-in (& again at check-out), but it would only be a request & not guaranteed. even if they are able to keep you in the same room, you would need to go to the FD to check out, & check back in.
hth :)

I agree. There were a lot of people who had to rebook last year when the plan went public. And I also think that the only way they will let you do Deluxe/Regular Dining is if you have two separate reservations where you have to check out and check back in.

The simple answer is no. You can finagle to get it to work (see PP), but it will take some work on your part.

The biggest issue to me is having to do the park tickets with each 'reservation' and potentially changing rooms.

Sorry, I know that wasn't the answer you were hoping for,

Thanks for the answers. Since we have free dining I would not want to break my current ressie in half because then I would have to pay full price to the second dining plan.

Thanks for all you help, I guess we will just do the DDDP for the whole time, Oh what a shame that will be :rotfl2:
