Can we do both Fantasmic and Star Wars fireworks?

Please, please, PLEASE - if you do try to do both, please be respectful. We staked out our spot for the fireworks about 30 minutes before the show. Sure enough, right as they were about to start, there was a flood of people rushing over from F trying to squeeze into every perceived space. We ended up with the dreaded tall dad with kid on shoulder who squeezed right in front of us at the last second. So annoying. I really wish WDW would rope of the existing fireworks crowd just before the F release to prevent that nonsense.

I agree, it's also very disruptive to people watching Fantasmic! when a lot of people get up before the show ends and starts to walk out.

Well we were only planning one night at HS, but now we will have to do 2 - we've had to miss F! for the past 2 visits, and I need that fix, and we are huge SW fans, so this fireworks show is also a must see! Good thing we have hoppers for the first time ever! We will definitely be putting them to good use!

When we were there it was 9:00 and 9:30, we went to F! and just stayed in our seats while the crowd cleared out. We could see the high fireworks from our seats and I can definitely see them distracting from F! if/when they occur at the same time!
