Can we confirm resorts and views booked with free DDP?

No luck for AKL Concierge from 09/22/2007 through 09/29/2007. We currently have a MYW package with dinning for this room type and dates booked so I figured I would give it a try since I am a Visa holder. Unfortuently, the AKL did have free dining rooms avaiable for the time frame but not on the concierge level. We really want to stay concierge here again so I cannot take advantage of free dinning.

Tiffany, perhaps you can book on another level and continue to call back to see if later you can upgrade. Also, maybe you can book one level and then ask if you can be upgraded upon arrival.

Gabriellewatson, perhaps if you book a day earlier you may get the WL standard view room. We are checking out on the 8th and have a standard view hope it works out for you.

Last year some people claim they managed to keep both. I remain unconvinced. I think that a rate change between summer season and value season from their original reservation and the final is to blame.. But I can't prove that.

The normal rule is.. you can have the AAA discount OR you can have the wonderful offer from Disney.. but not both.

In a moment of "I am getting out of Debt" last summer I cut up the Disney VIsa (what was I thinking), so I had to order a new card. It came yesterday but, when I got home it was too late to book. Anyway, I was going in Oct. and changed the dates. We will be at POR 9/8 to 9/22. I saved over $1800 and added 3 nights to the trip. It really does pay to be addicted to Disboards.

Good thoughts going out to all of you waiting for tomorrow. The CM I talked to acted like there were lots of rooms still with more to come out tomorrow. Good luck. I will be pulling for you too. I hope everyone can get what they want.

Hahahaha. I'm positive there are still rooms available. I bet you will get one tomorrow. I was so worried about not getting a room, I actually booked this room about 2 weeks ago. Then Monday morning I called and added the free dining. (well we already had dining on our package, they just adjusted it so it was free. Saved us $366) I already made all my ADR'S also ahead of time. Make some of your now to avoid missing out. ANd you can make your room ressie now then call in the morning and add free dining. Good Luck to you.

Then Monday morning I called and added the free dining. (well we already had dining on our package, they just adjusted it so it was free. Saved us $366) I already made all my ADR'S also ahead of time. Make some of your now to avoid missing out. ANd you can make your room ressie now then call in the morning and add free dining. Did they change your confirmation number? They told me they don't need to, but the fact my number does not have a K and I cannot confirm free dining online causes me concern.

I had the same question, called this morning and she confirmed we did have it. We don't have a K number either, just the same number we had before.

Thanks, I just hung up with them too. Yesterday I called and asked the same question, but the CM didn't check my reservation just answered generically. Today I asked the CM to actually view my reservation and be sure the code was entered. Mistakes have happened before, now I feel better!

No they did not. They modified my reservation # I already had. My had NO numbers it at all. We should all be getting an updates letter in the mail that will be the actual confirmation letter with all our info on it. I figure it will show up on that. You can always call and speak to someone to confirm it as well.

Thanks. We actually have a standing Swan ressie with ADRs already made. I can easily eat at the same places if needed. Keeping my fingers crossed . . .

Ok, being OCD, I can no longer stand all the odd bits and pieces of info on where everyone is going to be during the Free Dining Promotion. I need order in my life. I am old and my brain can only stand so much stress.
