Can we combine 2 reservations?

I finally was able to find another BOG dinner reservation for the other half of our party. We had one for 4 people and this one is for 4 people, and the two reservations are 5 minutes apart. I know it's a long shot but would they ever combine the two? Or is it likely that we could sit side-by-side?

BOG starts serving dinner at 4 and the ADRs are for 4:35 and 4:40.

You could ask, but I would guess it's a long shot.

I would just check in at the same time and request to be seated together (or close by). You might wait longer to be seated, but I think they would accommodate.

The capacity of BOG at dinnertime is based on the ability of the kitchen to prepare and plate meals in a timely fashion, but the total number of tables in the restaurant is based on the counter service breakfast and lunch where most dishes are prepared in advance so many more people can dine at the same time.

Please keep in mind while you can request to be seated together there is no guarantee of it. They will try, but it may not happen. If sitting apart is a deal breaker you may want to keep checking for an ADR that would fit all of you.

Many Disney restaurants have it in their disclamier that large parties are not guaranteed to sit together even when they are booked as one group. So you have a chance to sit together no matter what, but it is never guaranteed.

Yes, normally you can do this. Last year we had a large group and the only way I could get us in for a dinner was with 7 different ADR's. I had each number written out on a paper and gave it to the CM checking us in. I explained what I did and why and that we wanted to be at one table. She had no problem with it. She thanked me for having the numbers written down so she could make sure that we were checked in on each one and not get charged for missing one.

It is my understanding that the numbers of people has more to do with fire code than anything although I know it also apply to cooks and servers.

When we had dinner during free dining in November, the place had been booked solid for months. Yet, when we were seated in the rose gallery, it was literally half empty. There was no one seated at any of the tables near us. The main ballroom and west wing were full. I think your best bet of being seated together is if you are in the rose gallery for dinner. If you would rather sit in one of the other rooms, it's probably less likely, so it depends which is more important to you.

That's because the Rose Gallery is only used as overflow seating at dinner. The other two dining rooms are the "dinner" dining rooms.

Wow, 7 ADRs is pretty impressive! It's neat to hear that they could seat you all together. I'll definitely be sure to write down the numbers and have them on hand for when we go.

It's not a big deal if we can't all sit together but would be nice if it's possible.
