Can we buy Park Hopper passes a year ahead?

I would like to take FULL advantage of my Disney Club membership while I can. We are planning on going for Thanksgiving next year and if I can go to the Disney Store and get our passes and use the discount before it ends.

Does anyone know if we can purchase passes and not use them for a year?

Unused days on Park Hoppers never expire, so even if you don't use the tickets for 10 years, they're still good then. So when the prices keep going up, you'll have Park Hoppers at today's prices.
