Not interested in Universal Island. Can Universao Studios Florida be done one day?
Also, on a side note, Is it better to go at night? Any additonal activities at night?

I've done it in one day, but you should be checking the Maps so you can plan your route so when you get there.

Not really much at night because citywalk is mostly busy at night time. I usually go early morning to get on the rides and stuff.. but when are you going out exactly so we can get a sense of what to expect.

I will be going middle May of this year.

Also will be doing Busch Gardens. Can that also be done in one day?

we usually get it done in 1/2 a day, but it also depends on what you do. a full day should be no problem. :thumbsup2

Those of us that live close by can do it but we have been multiple times and do not nesecessarily do EVERYTHING cause we can just go back next weekend. If you are going to attempt it, get a map and plan what are must do's, would like to do's, and can do but can let it slide if you have to. Do your research based on your likes and wants and BE AT THE GATES JUST BEFORE THEY OPEN. You will be amazed at what you can get done before the crowds start to arrive around 10:00am.:cool2:

If you're only doing the Studios, you should have no problem seeing and doing everything in a single day.

We were there in August of 2007 and found we needed two days for Busch Gardens. It took my kids a full day just to ride all the roller coasters (long lines).

It depends on the speed of how you tour the parks and crowd levels. If you're fast on a very slow day you can do the park in 7-8 hours. If you're slow and you visit on a busy time like summer or the holidays,it might take you 2 days.

Oh man...

My wife and I went to BG back in January (low season). We spent 2 full (open to close) and one half (open until lunch) days in the park, and probably would have gone back again if our 2 week passes hadn't expired first!

Seriously... it depends on what you want at BG. If you just want to do all the rides, then a day should be fine. If you just want to see the animals, then a day should be fine. Even if you just want to see all the shows, you'll probably need a full day to make the schedule work out to see them all.

However, if you just want to see one or two shows, do most of the rides, and see a handful of animals, then you can probably do it in a day. It just depends what you want out of it.

Understand, however, that when we talk about seeing the animals, we spend quite a bit of time (especially with the tigers!) The keepers talks are great, but that's another thing you have to schedule in.

In any case, I'm sure you'll have a great time at BG. It's my feeling that BG is sorely underrepresented here on the DIS.

That's true...there is no BG thread on here...the closest we have is the Sea World threads.

We've done it. We got there about noon on our arrival day, and left the park at 8 PM. We were tired and hungry, but we mostly saw what we wanted. The only ride we missed was MIB, but it was broken down when we were at that end of the park.

It can definitely be done in one day especially if you have an express pass.

We did a day and a half at US and the 1/2 day was just repeating some rides.
