Can u use Rest.com cert & tables in wonderland?

Hi. Just curious if you can apply both a restaurant.com gift certificate and also use Tables in Wonderland discount card at the same time. I see you can get a $25 Garden Grove gift certificate for $3.00 at restaurant.com, so wondering if you could also apply the 20% Tables in Wonderland too if you have 2 adults and 2 children? Is the gift certificate like cash...meaning at the time the bill comes you would provide yoru TIW card to have your bill adjusted, then pay with a combo of gift certificate and credit card????

On October 30th at Il Mulino restaurant I was told I could not use both. We used the restaurant.com certificate. When we went to Bluezoo we opted to use TIW because 20% off the bill was better than using the certificate.

The restaurant.com certificates are more like discounts than true dollar per dollar gift cards. It would be considered "stacking" discounts to use both, and the restaurants don't do that.

You'd have to choose between one or the other, but not both.

2) An eatery will not give you
. . . a $25 discount on a cert
. . . a $25 cert for $2
. . . AND 20% off for TIW
3) They would lose money.
4) You could pay $17 for a $50 meal (excl tax & tip).
