We have reservations for 9people at Akershus @5:05Sept 10th, but my Mom offered for hubby and me to have free night and this 1 worked out so I made ressies for just the 2 of us at Narcoosees LATE right be for fireworks that night. Will they let my Hubby and me still just sit at table (not eat) at Akershus and visit even if we are not ordering... we are included in the 9 of our reservation there? Thanks for the help

Sorry, have to ask - why are you going then?

I don't know what the policy is, but since it is served family style, the odds are good they will charge you whether you eat or not. No one is going to monitor whether you took a bite or not, it is much easier to just charge everyone at the table.

A couple years ago, we had a member of our party get a stomach virus. It hit him right as we were sitting down to eat. He didn't eat anything, only drank a Sprite. Thats all they charged us for and it didn't seem to be a issue at all.

Someone who is obviously sick & just sipping sprite is the rare exception - they very kindly didn't charge that person.

The family who wants to go but not eat in order to enjoy the characters will have to pay - rightfully so. They're taking up a chair. There may be a lesser "entertainment charge" that can be billed rather than the meal price, provided the 2 people eat/drink nothing at all. I've heard of this beingdone for gastric bypass patients or people on a feeding tube who obviously cannot eat or drink anything there.

Pretty sure you will be charged.They charged 2 people in my party at LTT even though they weren't eating,simply because at the time it was a character meal .

Yes indeed and rightfully so we would be charged. Called and asked today and any meal that involves live entertainment or characters you will be charged full price. That answers that. Thanks all leaving for the world in 3 days woohoo
