Can u bring like coke in a cooler in the parks along w/water and juice?

The only time we had a problem was when we didn't have a soft cooler. It was a soft cooler but it had plastic container insert. So we took out the plastic insert and then it was fine. We always bring can of soda, water bottles and juice boxes.

They are really not strict at all about bringing and food or drinks into the parks.........

Why did you have to take out the plastic insert?
