Can transferred points be combined with existing points in a single reservation, same resort but different UY?

I couldn't find an answer to this question. My home resort is AKL with a September UY. I had AKL points transferred into my account, but their UY is December. Can I make a single reservation using all AKL points, or would I need to make a separate reservation - one with the AKL Sep-UY points and another with the AKL Dec-UY points?

Transferred points from a different use year can be combined with your own use year points to make a single reservation at 11 months out if both have same home resort, and 7 months out if different resorts. Transferred points can be banked after transfer but not borrowed. and thus trip needs to take place after the beginning of the use year of the transferred points. Example: Sep 2020 points can be mixed with Dec 2020 transferred points to reserve a trip that begins on or after Dec 1, 2020, but not before. Also, to use transferred points for a reservation requires calling MS as the online sytem does not work with transferred points.

As the PP said. Yes, this can be done, but you will have to call to make the reservation because most likely you won't see the points in your online account.

And there used to be an exception in that you could see the points in your account and do the reservation online if the transferred points were for the same use year and resort as the points you own. But that convenient and desired exception was done away with when Disney IT did a supposed "improvement" of the online system.

Thank you so much! That was the answer I was hoping for. :) And, yes, I cannot see them, but I did confirm all is in my account. I'm planning a big group trip in April 2021, so just waiting till May to book the trip and wanted to be prepared. Bummer that I have to call, but awesome that I can use all points in one reservation. :)

And if you have any concern as to whether you can get what you want at 11-months out when losing that one-hour online booking advantage, you should book part of the trip online online at 8 a.m. with your own points and then call at 9 to modify the reservation to include the transferred points.

That's an excellent suggestion - thank you!

I always love Disney ITs "improvements" 🤬
