Can transferred points be banked?

We are DVC members, and I am sure I should probably know the answer to the question, but I don’t, so I am turning to the pros for an answer…..I am in the midst of planning a trip for May 2007 and realized that we were a few points short. I plan to use the rent trade board for a transfer request, but before I do that I wanted to know if I need to look for points that are within the right use year, or if I can get points from this year transferred in and then bank them to use for a 2007 stay?

Yes, transferred points may be banked. If you are now in your 2006 Use Year, you will need to have someone's 2006 UY points transferred into your 2006 Use Year.

Doc's right I just did this the other day!! Someone transferred points to me and I banked them to 06. Happy banking !!!!!
