Can tickets bought at Undercover Tourist be added to our KTTW Cards?

I'm going to buy our park tickets from the Undercover Tourist which saves about the cost of the sales tax which is fairly high for the 6 of us. My question is this. Can I add these tickets to our KTTW cards when we arrive? I think I've done this once before but wanted to check. It's a huge bother to try and manage 6 room keys + six sets of paper tickets.

Yes, but the check-in desk cannot do it.

You have to get your KTTW cards first and then have the concierge desk put the paper tickets on your KTTW card.

We too have done it successfully several times. However, in March 2010 it would never work at FQ. They couldn't give me an explanation, the concierge just couldn't get it to go through. We did have problems with our tickets at the parks too and had to have them replaced but even then when I went back to FQ they weren't able to do it. So there is always that possibility.:upsidedow

Prior to the system "upgrade" I had no problem with adding my Undercover Tourist entittlements to my KTTW card. Last January, 2011 the system refused to scan the paper tickets or recognize the number. The CM working with me at Beach Club club level (hey, if you are going to pay for the service, use the service) came up with the scheme of "selling" me the equivalent to my UT tickets then crediting me the value of the UT tickets. It may have helped that I presented the UT tickets in the skrink wrapped package.

Is this a backdoor way to discourage buying tickets from wholesellers? Possibly. I am more incline to believe it is incompetence than intent.

Aahh, but now I throw a twist for you to consider. I've purchased the 6 tix from UCT and after entering MK will upgrade my ticket to an AP so that I can buy a TiW card. Can I have an AP on a KTTW grasshopper :cool2:

I tried to do that last year and they were not able to do it.

When we stayed at the Poly this past April they said they could not add paper tickets to our room keys. They told me to ask at guest services at one of the parks, so I did just that when we went to MK, but they said they were unable to add them to our room keys as well. I purchased them through UT and was surprised they couldn't add them as I had read several posts here where people said thay were able to do so without any problem.

There have been sporadic reports of resorts having trouble adding separate tickets to KTTW cards since the computer system upgrade. They should be able to do it, but sometimes there are problems that they can't resolve.

I don't believe that the guest relations locations can do anything with KTTW cards (and never have been able to), but I could be mistaken.

Likewise, I don't think that APs ever have been able to be added to KTTW cards.

You can't put an annual pass on a KTTW card. They're all Tyvek stock only. The only difference is that a Premier Pass (both WDW and Disneyland) is not Tyvek - it's like a credit card. You still can't combine it with a KTTW card though.

Yikes. I purchased through UCT for the first time two weeks ago and I'm truly hoping concierge can put them onto our kttw cards.....

Any current reports about success or lack there of with doing this? Our vacation's not until July, but I'm sure hoping to be able to add my paper tickets to my KTTW ~ :worship:.

Did it no problem at the concierge at Beach Club last summer.

I know this thread is a little old, and my trip isn't until Feb 2014. I'm just wondering if the practices still applied. I've noticed a couple ways to get tickets cheaper, through legitimate means, and wanted to make sure I can add tickets w/ PH option to my KTTW card. I hope nothing has changed since this post opened and last post updated back in Jan 2012.

Thanks for any help!:thumbsup2

We were at WDW earlier this month and had no problem getting our UT tickets put onto our KTTW cards.

Different question. I am going to Disney next week. Bought 7 day tickets through UT. Will probably add a day or two. My question is that we are staying at BWV for 4 nights and then OKW for 6 nights. Can they add tickets to BWV and then redo them at OKW?
