I just read somewhere that if you deduct people from your advanced dining reservations, you will have to cancel your old reservation and re-book a new one. That does not make sense! I am trying to plan for a group of 19. I am making all of the reservations, and then, if someone says they don't want to eat somewhere, I just planned on calling and reducing the number of people in my reservation. I plan to do this long before we go - not a few hours before or the same day - after all, it is 80-some days until we go.
But, if I stand a chance of losing my reservation, I have no incentive to call and reduce the number, do I? Please, someone tell me this is wrong.
Thanks!
