Can this be right? Cholesterol med lowered my total by 100 points?

Medication is something we all have to its balance pros & cons. Being I have stroke history in my family on both sides and diet and excercise could not control my levels Lipitor was for me. My concern for heart disease and stroke made my decision very easy.
Having worked for American Heart Association for many years I would warn people to take all "studies" as a one sided test/experiment......Many studies are paid for by the pharm. companies.

I am on Lescol because the side effects of Lipitor and Zocor were too intense for my body. Lescol achieves the same end result (actually better than the other two) and I have no side effects with it at all.

All medications have side effects....

This one really had none for me. I know all medications have side effects but in comparison to the Lipitor and Zocor I have not been physically ill with the Lescol and have been on it for almost a year now.
