Can this be done?

My DH's Grandfather has points that are going to be no good after February. He has asked us if we could rent them for him. Are we allowed to do that? Actually I would just post they are for rent and then give them his info to call and have him set it up. If this is not allowed, will a TA or someone like a middle man buy them from him? Any help would be really appreciated. Thank you.

He could offer them for transfer if he hasn't used his once a year transfer already. Then he would be done with them.

If he offered them for rent, he would have to make the reservation for whomever rents the reservation.

How does that work exactly, I know he probably knows, but just so I know. It's hard to find out this stuff because he is the DVC member and I'm not to sure about it all. He would also do this himself, he just doesn't know how to do the computer thing well. Thank you again for any help you can give me.

There is at least one reputable middle man out there who does a good job buying/selling point. We aren't allowed to mention the name here, but if you search elsewhere you should be able to find the info.
