We are going on a cruise (non-Disney :( but happy to be cruising!) in November. I would like to fly to Orlando and stay at a WDW hotel for 2 nites then drive a rental car to Miami to catch the ship. We return to Miami on a Friday and I would again rent a car and drive to WDW, again staying at a WDW hotel for 2 more nites. Is it possible to arrange ME on both legs of the airport with this broken up ressie? This trip is confusing me so bad I'm not sure what to do?!:confused3

I don't see why not. I'm assuming you'll be renting the car from one of the car rental companies on Disney property, correct?

Here is the scenario as I see it. You book a Disney stay for 2 nights, arrange for ME to take you from airport to resort.

You rent a car on property and drive to Miami.....cruise.....rent another car and return it to a location on Disney property.

Stay at Disney hotel for 2 more nights.

Here is what you do. Make your arrangements for ME pick-up on your arrival.

When you check-in to your hotel when you return AFTER your cruise, go to the concierge/guest services and book a return ME trip back to airport.

Yes you can use ME on the day of check in and out to go to and from the resort and MCO.

You will have two reservations, one for the begining and end part of your trip. So you can use ME at the begining and end of each part.

You will need to take the bags on ME with you, when you are going to MCO to get your rental and after when you return the rental.

When flying to MCO and Flying home you can let ME handle your bags for you.

Yes, it will work. In fact you can rent a car at the airport.

Treat this as two separate trips. Fly into MCO and take ME to WDW. Spend your two days at WDW. Set up ME for a time you want to return to MCO to pick up the car. If you want to pick up the car at 11am, tell the ME folks a flight that leaves at around 1pm.

Reverse the order for your return to MCO with the rental car. Give than a flight that lands about the time you think you'll arrive at MCO. Drop off the rental car and head down to the ME desk. Take ME like usual and enjoy your second trip to WDW.

The only reason I say this is that I have found renting from MCO much cheaper. You can rent on property and in that case you simply would need the inbound ME when you first arrive and the outbound on the second itinerary.

Enjoy.

Just to clarify for others reading along, you can use DME anytime during your WDW Resort reservation. It does not have to be on check in or check out day. You dp need an advance reservation and you only get one r/t per person but again when you check in or out has no bearing.

In the OP's case I would do exactly as Dud's suggested !
