Can TA and I BOTH make ADRs at the same time?

Trying to figure out the best way to do this on our ADR day. It's also the day that Soutwest will release its Nov. flights, so I will be doing that first if they hadn't released them 6 hours before at midnight.

If we split up the list is the system going to kick one of us out? Am I better off just letting the TA (Dreams Unlimited) do all the ADRs? Given all the problems with the system do we think TAs have a better shot at the harder to get ones, such as BOG dinner and CRT? On the other hand, I believe that the TA is a few hours behind me (I'm EST) so maybe I should just try to do it all myself?

Any help would be appreciated. Not real good at technology and the problems with MDE frustrate me. I'm overwhelmed.

Thanks.

I would suggest calling and making your ADR over the phone. The CM can be very helpful. I would make a list of where you want to eat ahead of time and what day then go from there : )

I have the same delima...I am hoping SW releases early so it does not mess up my ADR plans. I read that someone had both themselves and their daughter logged into the same MDE account to make ADRs and had no issues so I would think having both you and your travel agent would work. The only problem I see is if your choices aren't available and she books another time or day it may end up conflicting.

TA doesn't think that it's a good idea, for that very reason. I'm East Coast and she is Central, so I am going to do it myself. Am taking a vacation day anyway, so it's fine. I may then "assign" her the later "check ins" and obsessive checkings for cancellation for things I couldn't get. I simply don't have time for all of that.

I did ADR's myself(no TA) and they were fine :) took 20 min... put them in order of the highest priority first.. I did BOG and CRT pre park first. I got EVERYTHING i wanted. I am booking my return flight homw on Monday as well :)

Not to hijack, but is there a benefit to booking your flights the minute the schedule is extended? My 180 day mark is Monday which is also the day Southwest extends their schedule, so I planned on booking both Monday too. I figured I'd do my ADRs first at 6am, followed by flights. Unless there is an advantage to jumping on the flights first thing? :confused3

Hijackers welcome! I don't think so. At first I thought that it was important, but after seeing what people are going through to get the ADRs, I'm doing the ADRs first too. In my case it helps that I KNOW US Air does have flights on my dates (and better times even). If I had to go with US Air, I could...it would just cost me more. Not sure what your other flight options are.
