Can`t get a straight answer from Virgin

We want to book a flydrive for Jan 2005 and after several phonecalls and emails have so many differing answers i wonder if anyone could give me a straight answer.

I have been told i can`t book until next april, then told by another phone rep that i can book when the 2nd edition comes out in November. Then got told to enquire direct with virgin atlantic who said they can only advise on flight only which would be Feb.

Got an email back stating i could only book feb for flight, emailed back stating that i wanted flydrive not just a flight and could they email me back.

Anybody have any information or know how i can get a true answer to my query. many thanks alison.

Hi Alison.

If you are booking direct with the airline you can book a maximum of 336 days in advance. If, however, you are booking through the likes ofVirgin Holidays you can book up to the end of 2004 at present. I would guess that you could probably book for January 2005 next month.

I did exactly this last week.

I was told that I can book In october of this year for May 2005 flydrive.

TCD have told me towards the end of the year(Late November),if you want to fly with them.

I remember that when I was planning my honeymoon in April 2000 I got the travel agent to put a request in for specific hotels, flights and dates for June 2001 and when they came out I was able to book straight away at the prices quoted, which by the way worked out to be within my budget and were slightly lower than when the brochure came out!!
Can you not put in a request with VH so that when the holiday becomes available it can be booked straight away???
Also if you are or hve been on your third trip with VH you can join their Requent Virgin Club and I have found them to be very helpful in the past, plus you get little extras like car upgrade etc, etc.
