Can something really be perfect?

Ok, this may sound a little stupied but that just goes to show you how smart I am.

Can something be perfect and not have something wrong with it?

Perfect Life...
Perfect House...
Perfect Family...
Perfect Body...

Yes, I said it "perfect body" I wish I had one.... but who doesn't?
Please don't say i'm stupied i've been told that way too much...

I don't think anything can be perfect. A lot of people seem like they have everything and are perfect, but deep down inside they are miserable. You should be happy with what you have, because what you may have, others may not.

Exactly. People can seem perfect, but they might have more problems than you.

And nobody can be perfect. Too many things to get to 100%, and keep them there.

things can be perfect. because perfect means that something does what it should without fault. a lightbulb can be perfect. A person can be perfect if they do what they do for you without fault. They have faults. yes. but they don't have faults in the relationship that they have with you. so yes, a person can be perfect. but in a crush you view a person as totally perfect in every way. I know someone right now. and I've liked/loved him for a long time. I can see his faults, but I still like/love him anyway. so thats the difference. Love is finding an imperfect person and viewing htem as perfect anyway.

also mary poppins is practically perfect in every way...

i agree nothing can be perfect...but it is all in the eyes of the beholder...someone can think you have a perfect life, body, home or whatever..only because to them its better than what they have...so look for the silver lining in the grey clouds and be happy for what you have..because there is some1 out there who thinks your perfect!

nope. nothing can be perfect.
but i'm sick of those stars that have everything, they have normal friends, and celebrity friends, but yet they are always miserable. normally it's cos they're wasted, or hungover, or were partying all night. they always seem to be missing something, when some people don't have anything.
sure they can get miserable over the fact that they don't feel loved, sure they can get miserable because they find their friends don't understand. but there are people who have never had someone love them (i'm talking as in lover wise) when celeb's have had perfect (i really don't mean perfect, you know good) relationships and have screwed them up, and it was their fault.

I don't think anything can be perfect. Yes, there are those things that you absolutely believe and defend, calling them perfect (as with me and LOTR), but if you search hard enough, there is always something wrong, even if it's small. For example, in ROTK, turning around from the Black Gates, you see Phon's face instead of Billy Boyds. (Don't ask, it's a geek thing ) Nope, I don't believe anything's perfect.

I believe that nothing is truly perfect. Just like I believe that nothing is truly normal. Really, have you ever met either an absolutely perfect person or a completely normal person? I haven't. That's what makes us all so interesting. Sure, it'd be nice if we could all be perfect, but think of how boring the world would be!
