Really enjoy the 3 or 4 day cruise?

I was thinking about taking my DD to WDW in the fall but she can't make up her mind if she wants to cruise again or go to WDW (she of course wants both). I suggested a 3 or 4 day cruise to my Husband then 4 days in WDW but he feels that after the 7 Day cruise, it won't be as much fun. Personally, I would love to try the 4 day.

If you have done this, were you disappointed in the 3 or 4 day after taking the 7?

Hello,
We have sailed the 3 night twice/ the 4 night twice / the 7 night once with another scheduled for January of next year. I think the 3 night would be too much of a tease and the 4 night in combination with 4 nights at WDW is a good compromise. We are fortunate enough to live an hour and a half from Disney and can visit on a regular basis. Still, before we moved to Florida, I don't think that I would have ever been able to visit without at least a few days at the Parks.

This is a win-win situation. Enjoy,
Dawn Hope

We did a 4 day after a 7 day and yes it was enjoyable. Our first cruise was the 3 day which was way to short! Then we did a 7 day Eastern and loved it. The next year we decided that we wanted to cruise again, but couldn't afford a 7 day. We booked a 4 day and had a great time followed by 2 days at WDW. It was fun seeing the Wonder for the first time as our previous 2 cruises had been on the Magic (the 3 day was when only the Magic was sailing).

We also did some research before hitting Nassau again and went to Atlantis on our own and had a great time. We picked the 4 day with a sea day and it was great.

We've since taken another 4 day (the DVC Member Cruise) and the 7 day Western. We're also booked on the 10 Day Christmas cruise for 2004.

Sure 4 days is short, but 4 days of DCL is still 4 great days to me!

We did a seven day cruise first last summer. THis past spring break we did the four day. I think it was better to do the 4 day after the 7 day, b/c you don't have to worry about learning about everything. We are actually going on a 3 day cruise next week. We are first going to WDW for 2 nights and 4 nights at Vero Beach before the 3 day. All for DD's 4th b-day!

Our very first cruise was a 4-night on the Magic before the 7-night cruises were offered. Since then, we have done the 7-night a few times. In March, we had an opportunity to sail the 4-night Wonder.

It was fun to see the differences in the two ships. We did notice that the guests on the 4-night cruise seemed to be more frenzied as they moved around the ship. It was as though they knew that they had a limited amount of time on the ship and they were always in a hurry, trying not to miss a thing.

If you have a limited amount of either time or vacation funds, the Wonder cruises are great. But, if you can swing it, I'd really recommend the 7-nights on the Magic. It's the best vacation I can imagine.
