Can someone tell me how to get my disney dollars from my disney visa

Just to add not only is this the easiest option with no fear of losing a card or it not arriving on time you will actually continue to earn rewards this way. That Character meal for you, @hannymom will earn you 2% or 1% back. You then have 90 days from the transaction to go into your Chase account and do the Pay Yourself Back which is a statement credit on your bill.

I was all set to order the redemption card when I saw this thread. SO... if I use my Disney VISA at Boma, I will get the 10% off dining (food) for using the VISA, and then earn 2% in dining rewards... and THEN I can go into my account and Pay Myself Back to use up the rewards? What is the down side here, or am I misunderstanding something?

Nope you’ve got it. The only catch is you can only pay yourself back once per transaction. So if you don’t have enough points you can’t use what you have to apply to the Boma purchase and then once you have more points go back and try and wipe out more of the purchase. I would suggest waiting until your statement hits that way you will have more points to apply to the purchase including the ones earned from Boma. You will have 90 days to apply points towards a purchase. If you have already paid the bill in full and have not made any charges by the time you go to apply the points you would have a credit on your account.

Just remember you would only earn 2% if you have a premier card ($50 AF)

Aww but it’s fun!! . Like matching all my old Magicbands to my outfits. DD rolled her eyes & said “ya know you can just use your phone . Well what fun it that?!?!?

My brain likes the way it looks as a payment on my cruise/room folio more than just a credit on my statement. (Yes I know it's the same pile of money, but )

I'd never thought about doing the pay yourself back.... I usually transfer it to my redemption card online. Then wait till rakuten or retailmenot has 10% cashback at the disney store and go buy disney gift cards there with it. Then I've bought gift cards with "free" money and gotten an additional 10% back.

It's worth noting that most of the time the terms and conditions say the cb is not valid on gc purchases, but I've done it probably 20+ times over the last 5 years and it's worked every single time.

You have much better luck than me I've only been paid out twice however you can still do this but pay with your Disney Visa card and earn the cash back and wipe out the charge. If it tracks for the gift card even better!!
