Can someone recommend a good scary movie!

We've seen Signs and Halloween......something with maybe Ghosts in it.....I don't know....any good suggestions.

The movie that scared me the most was called "When a Stranger Calls"........I was it when I was a young teenager & it really frigtened me. It's not a gory-scary movie........it's suspense-scary.

Have you seen "The Others" with Nicole Kidman? It's one of those weird scarey movies, but not bad. "Glass House" is another good one- and then there's "Domestic Disturbance" with John Travolta and "Enough" with Jennifer Lopez. THese are all rated PG-13 and are fairly new suspense thrillers- no real gore in any of them.

One that totally freaked me out when I was a teenager was called "Magic" (I think). It was about this ventriloquist and his dummy. The dummy started talking to the ventriloquist (or maybe the ventriloquist imagined it - like the dummy was his evil alter-ego or something). But anyway, the dummy starts telling the ventriloquist to kill people. I don't think my description does it justice, but it scared the crap out of me!! I think it starred Anthony Perkins (but I could be wrong).

But also....Joy Ride, 13 Ghosts, Jeepers Creepers.
I love scary movies (not too much gore though).

How about Dead Calm, with Nicole Kidman.
Or Friday the 13th.

13 ghosts is also good, but not as scary as the Others

Carrie, The Shining, The Birds. I don't like those bloody gory movies. If you've never seen Psycho it's scary.

Dead Calm was scary.

One of my all time favorites is "Vanished". It starred Kiefer Sulivan, Sandra Bullock, and Jeff Bridges. Really scary.
