understand tickets through undercover tourist. I have a vacation package reserved as I type but I have been toying with the idea of using undercover tourist for tickets. How does it work? I would have to call disney and return my tickets and then buy tickets from undercover tourist, I assume. Would I still be able to reserve fast pass + with my undercover tourist tickets at 60 days out or would I only have the 30 day window? How do I make the undercover tourist tickets link to my magic band?

UT tickets are real Disney tickets that are indistinguishable from the ones Disney sells. They do everything that Disney tickets do. They will have a number on the back. You link these tickets to your MDE account by simply typing in that number.

You need to call Disney and cancel your package and rebook as a room-only reservation. The room-only reservation plus the UT tickets when linked to your MDE account, allow you to book all of your FPs 60 days before you check-in at the resort.

If you stay with your Disney package, which currently has tickets at the old price, you can keep that old ticket price as long as you don't make any changes to your package between now and check-in. Otherwise, you would have to re-book to a room-only reservation in order to use UCT tickets. You would link the UCT tickets to your MDE account (very simple), and they would show up and be ready to use for FP+ at 60 days, just as if the tickets were purchased from a Disney package reservation.

There's advantages to a room-only reservation, such as room-only discounts which may be in effect for your travel dates. But there would be no dining plan, if that's something you wanted, and changing now might mean you would lose the booking category you already had.

Ok thank you all I think I have to stay with my reservation because it is a bounceback reservation and I don't think I would get the discount I have now if I have to cancel and rebook as room only reservation. I think I will use ut but just not with the deal I have now.
