Hi! My dh and I have been married 12 years this Oct. and will be at disney during our anniversary. We are planning a grand gathering at AK on Sunday Oct 3 which is our actual anniversary. But I would like to plan something for monday or tuesday night w/o our 4 kids!! We don't get out often w/o them! We will be at SOG and I am open to anything!! Thanks!!!

if you're going for romantic then try california grill for dinner with a 9pm PS, you can see wishes from the restaurant.. that would be very nice..

also, if money isn't a problem, victoria and albert's is an extremely nice dinner..

or, if you just want a night out alone, try pleasure island.. the comedy warehouse, adventurer's club.. all really fun clubs..

  what else??

Congrats on you upcoming anniversary:earsboy:
I think watching the fireworks from the Poly beach is about the most romantic thing you could do....or if money is no option, a private fireworks cruise.

We are getting a night out for our anniversary next month. We plan to eat at Yachtsmans Steakhouse, catch Illuminations if the time is right, then go to Jellyrolls on the BW. I dont think that is really romantic in the sense of the word, but anytime we get out without the kids and get to do something we dont usually do with the kids, is all right by us. ;)
Enjoy your anniversary!

I second watching the fireworks from the Polynesian Beach - we stayed there in Dec 2002 & loved watching the fireworks in the sand. :)

I recently read about carriage rides - I think at POR & maybe something at FW. These sound really neat - not sure if you can get one for just the 2 of you, or if others are involved. This might be a nice option. HTH! :)

There are so many wonderful places to celebrate. We will be celebrating our 29th on the 26th of Oct. at Bistro de Paris.

Other anniversary dinners have included, Victoria & Albert's ( think that would be way too pricey for 6)
Citico's (GF)
Palio's (Swan)
Jiko (AKL)
Artist's Point (WL)
Teppaniaki (Japan)

No matter where you go, the family being together will make it special.

Bistro de Paris is very romantic (last time we were there, the couple next to us got engaged).

Also very nice is Jiko.

Personally, not a big fan of Cal Grill for romance, as I often find it to be relatively loud and hectic.

Obviously V&A's is ideal, but, on a smaller budget, I would probably go for Citricos. It was remarkably quiet and intimate when we were last there, and the staff went out of their way to make our dinner memorable, probably because we were one of only 4 or 5 tables that were occupied.
Cheers!

Citrico's would be a fine choice--but last I heard, they are closed both Monday and Tuesday nites.
