as far as how the amount of visits are calculated? We have nine day hoppers and we get five days of waterparks/or PI. How is the number of visits determined and can we do five days of PI without the water parks? Is Disney Quest included? Things were much simpler with the UPH. DH and I went to PI every night. :drinking: TIA!

You get more option days based on the number of park days you purchased. You can use the 5 days all at PI if you want, or all at water parks, or divide it up any way you want. However, if you go to a water park during the day and then PI at night, that will use up 2 options, leaving you only 3 more. You can't hop among the options like you can at the main parks. Every entry into a different one of the option parks uses up one of the options. I do believe that you can come and go from the same water park, or DQ on the same day and not use multiple options. But going into multiple places on a day uses multiple options.

So say you use it for Typhoon Lagoon one day (you have a 7 day hopper with 6 plus options).... does this count against one of your 7 days? Or is it 7 days in the parks + 6 additional days for plus stuff? Oh man I'm lost when it comes to this!

The option days are in addition to.

If you use one of the options and do not do one of the 4 main parks that day, it does not use up one of your 7 park days

It's 7 days in the park and an additional 6 VISITS for plus stuff.

You could:

visit a park in the morning (MK)... in the evening, head to DQ. That would be one day and one plus.

visit a park from morning until night (or hop between the four parks if you have that option). You don't go to any water parks, PI, or DQ. One day, no pluses.

visit none of the four parks on a particular day. Go to BB. No days, one plus.

visit none of the four parks on a particular day. Go to BB and hit PI later in the evening. No days, two pluses.

The combinations are endless.
This assumes your tickets are the ones which expire. (You have 14 days to use up your days and plus visits, use em or lose em).

If you pay a little more for non-expiry, you don't need to worry about "wasting" visits -- save the tix, write down what's left on them, use them on your next trip! We've done this before when had some plus options left over -- made our next trip a little cheaper b/c we only had to buy tickets for the four main parks.

We bought 7 day park hoppers and got 6 extras. When did you buy your tickets? We bought ours last summer....maybe this is why???

We are going in September so maybe that's what the difference is, 2005 vs 2006. Thanks!

Anyone know why I only got 5 plus options with a 9 day pass?
7,8,9,10 day passes should all have 6 pluses according to the listings on allearsnet. Just a theory: I'm wondering if AAA or some brokers are allowed to sell variations on this?

Okay, here's what is says in the PassPorter: The Water Park Fun & More option adds a limited number of single-day, single-park admissions for the minor parks (BB, TL, PI, DW & WWOS) to any Base Ticket. Purchase this feature with 1 to 3 day base tickets and you receive two plus options, 4 to 5 day base tickets receive three options, 6 day base tickets receive four options, 7 to 10 day base tickets receive five options ...
I just got the PassPorter yesterday and I love it lots already!!!

I just bought mine and got the 6 plus options with 7 days and I know it's been like that for at least a couple of months. I do know when I checked with AAA a month or so ago they had less plus options with their packages. Don't know why. Best deal I found was actually through Disney. Also, several of the things I saw on the net had less options. Wonder why?

Some AAA and other travel agencies may be selling old stock (2005) tickets or promotional tickets (unusual combinations of days and plusses). Some promotional tickets cannot be traded up or upgraded.

I just added the option to our 7 day ressies for December 06 and it is 6 admissions to PI, DQ, or whatever water parks are open combined. Not 6 admissions for each attraction. I added this to my package just last week. It is definately 6 admissions altogether. Not per venue.

You can use them all up at one place or go to multiple attractions. Just no more than 6 visits to the "extras" attractions that are not normally included with your hopper park tix.

Did you book through WDTC? If so this puts me back where I started ... confused as to why I was told five options for nine days. :confused3

I'm guessing it's because the total of your visits would have to expire within the 14 days unless purchasing the no-expiration.

Did you only get 5 or are you going on the info in the Passporter? The guide books can and do make mistakes.

I was quoted five when I booked the package so when I read it in PassPorter I took it as confirmation that the info Disney gave me was correct.

Yes I called directly to 1-407-WDISNEY and talked to an operator personally. I have added this option to my park hopper passes in the past and it was the same each time.

I booked our package online through Disney's website and made the changes via phone to their reservations center.

I bought 8 day w/water park, hopper etc (just tickets not a package). Now I wish I had bought 10 day no expiration w/options. I can upgrade when we get there can't I, before I start using them? Did I read that the water park, DQ etc options don't carry forward with the no expiration option, just the park day admissions. Does anyone know how the upgrading procedure works?

Thanks in advance for info.
